This design enables easy installation of the MKIII wind turbine on top of a 2 inch diameter pipe, such as PVC pipe. The mounting system includes several key features: two holes for attaching the MKIII turbine, two round openings for securing it to the 2 inch pipe, and two hex-shaped holes designed for metric hex nuts. To secure these nuts, I employed a soldering iron to drive them into place. Additionally, the design incorporates an electrical box that allows longer wires to be connected directly to the slip ring wires. Two small holes are provided for M3 threaded inserts, which can also be easily inserted using a soldering iron. Furthermore, there is one hole specifically designed for wire connections and two more outlet holes for running additional wires. Finally, the design includes an electric box lid that needs to be adjusted slightly in terms of length, depending on whether PETG or PLA material is used.
