Resized to fit perfectly within a 2-inch ball, the new design features a precise 13/64 hole measuring an impressive 1.77 inches in length. This meticulous adjustment allows it to seamlessly accommodate my trusty old drill press, equipped with a standard 13/64 hole that can be tapped for either a secure 1/4-20 or a robust 1/4-28 thread. For optimal strength and ample room for cutting the threads, I strongly advise incorporating numerous walls. In this project, I elected to construct a sturdy structure with an impressive eight walls, each measuring a substantial 3.2 mm in thickness, while also utilizing a generous 20% cubic infill to ensure maximum durability.
