For Tevo Tarantula enthusiasts ! Print this and forget about those annoying brackets and customized couplers - all you need is a stable rod. This mod enhances printing quality on the Tarantula and gives you the ultimate X-position adjustment for the Z-axis. Position it like in picture 1. You'll need a few simple parts: a leftover 4mm x 20 Allen screw from Tevo, a flat bolt, and a steel bearing ball (5/7mm) - up to 8 might be required. The cup is set on an eccentric axis, so you can adjust it to the rod's axis with ease. Be sure to clean it thoroughly as it's intentionally a bit tight. Note the bolt on the left side of the assembly; a M5 threaded rod runs across the base. I had to drill the Y-base, naturally, but this modification has made my frame incredibly stiff and strong, with smoother motions than ever before. In fact, I've added two - the second one crosses the frame itself - and I no longer rely on aluminium brackets for support.
