The device can also function as a magnetic stirrer by utilizing the magnet from the HDD. This unit employs the brushless motor from the HDD to spin the disk, taking advantage of its ability to spin at high speeds due to its design and the motor driver used.\nIt has multiple uses, depending on the type of disk attached. Coating stainless steel proved challenging but visually appealing.
