2" HITCH RECEIVER GOPRO/ACTION CAMERA MOUNT

This is a 2" hitch receiver mount designed specifically for GoPros and other action cameras that utilize the universal GoPro style mount. Any action camera can be fitted, as long as it adheres to this standard. I created this mount to provide a secure place to attach my GoPro on the back of my truck without relying on suction cups or other mounting methods. This design allows for complete freedom in orientation, with receiver pin holes on all four sides enabling the camera to be positioned towards the rear, upwards, downwards, or to either side. The hitch pin holes are slightly undersized, requiring only a few minutes of filing to ensure a snug fit. Conversely, the nut slot is slightly oversized but I highly recommend utilizing an M5x0.8 nut or acorn nut (standard GoPro size), which should be glued into place for added security. Four small holes on the front serve a crucial purpose by allowing water to escape and minimizing the risk of water/ice accumulation within the mount. This 2" hitch receiver mount was printed using an Anycubic Photon with a custom blend of Siraya Tech Blu and Siraya Tech Fast white resin. Following printing, I removed supports, cleaned, cured, and performed filing first. Subsequently, I applied a coat of Siraya Tech Blu to encapsulate the nut, utilizing a toothpick for precise application, before curing it in my UV curing box for an additional time. This resulted in an extremely secure bond. Over the past few months, this mount has been thoroughly tested without any issues, even on rugged terrain.
