2" Hitch Receiver GoPro/Action Camera Mount

This is a custom-designed 2" hitch receiver mount tailored for use with GoPros as well as other action cameras that utilize the universal GoPro style mount. The mount's versatility allows any action camera to fit seamlessly, making it perfect for those seeking an alternative to suction cups or traditional mounting methods. I created this mount specifically to attach my GoPro to the back of my truck without compromising its durability. This innovative design features receiver pin holes on all four sides, enabling you to orient the camera to face rearward, upwards, downwards, or to either side with ease. The hitch pin holes are slightly undersized, but a few minutes of careful filing will ensure a snug fit. Conversely, the nut slot is only slightly oversized; I recommend using an M5x0.8 nut or acorn nut (standard GoPro size) for optimal results. To secure the nut in place, simply apply a small amount of glue and let it set. The four tiny holes on the front of the mount serve as drainage points to prevent water or ice from accumulating inside, thereby reducing the risk of damage. I manufactured this mount using an Anycubic Photon and a blend of Siraya Tech Blu and Siraya Tech Fast white resin. After printing, I removed supports, thoroughly cleaned the surface, cured it in my UV curing box, and performed some minor filing to refine its shape. To further reinforce the nut's hold, I applied a thin layer of Siraya Tech Blu using a toothpick and then subjected it to an additional curing cycle in my UV curing box. Through rigorous testing over several months, this mount has proven itself to be remarkably resilient, even when navigating rough terrain.
