Create a 3D-printed replica of an old school tool for cutting circular recesses in guitar rosettes. These tools have been personally tested by the author and feature upgraded plane designs. To create the cutter, use a reground knife from a flex cut knife or a narrow chisel. Secure the parts with 3mm screws and nuts. For optimal results, use a stiffer connecting rod made of 1/4" square hardwood, measuring 150mm in length. Assemble using PLA prints and Weldon #16 glue for superior bonding strength. The plane has two screws: one to adjust the blade angle and another to lock it in place, allowing for customization based on your rosette's specifications.
