+2 For HiPower

+2 For HiPower

I am excited to share my knowledge about Browning HiPower magazines, where a +2 extension adds an extra two rounds of ammunition to the standard capacity. I have thoroughly tested these extensions for 9mm variants but have yet to test them for .40 caliber and .30 Mouser models. Pierce Grip used to manufacture custom +2s for the BHP, but they discontinued their services long ago. I am taking matters into my own hands due to concerns about damaging another magazine, so I'm making my own +2 extensions. The embossed design around the top of the base plate is a result of a printing issue where the geometry was less than 0.4mm thick and couldn't be printed accurately with my current setup's 0.4mm nozzle. The Base Plate Revision R2 features cosmetic changes only, except for reduced tolerance to prevent slipping between the mag body and the base plate during assembly. However, I haven't tested this revision yet. Follower Base R5 includes an added tolerance at the pin that secures the base plate in place. This modification will allow for more misalignment when assembling the parts together. If you have any suggestions or recommendations for changes, please let me know!
