This gearbox features two high-performance Falcon 500 motors and an advanced pneumatic controlled dog shifter design. The goal was to craft a gearbox tailored for use with both standard FRC elevators and double climb mechanisms. All calculated speeds were carefully optimized with a 22-tooth #25 sprocket (measuring 22.24mm in radius) in mind. The "Normal Elevator" gear is designed to effortlessly lift a 40-pound carriage at a swift linear speed of 1.07 meters per second, while stalling safely at 0.4 volts and drawing only 10.4 amps per motor. In contrast, the "Climber" gear boasts impressive capabilities, capable of lifting an astonishing 330 pounds in just 0.43 meters per second linear speed. Notably, this gear stalls at a robust 1.6 volts and draws a substantial 34.2 amps per motor.
