A highly functional replica of an innovative 2-DoF wrist joint, free from singularity, inspired by a recent article on Hackaday about a versatile robotic arm from Korea: https://hackaday.com/2019/10/20/humanoid-robot-has-joints-that-inspire/ This model was created as a result of the article's influence. It operates flawlessly. It was printed in three contrasting colors to enhance its visual appeal: Black, Orange, and Silver. The mechanism boasts 2 degrees of freedom: pitch and roll. Its dimensions stand at 6 inches tall with end plates measuring 3.5 inches in diameter. The joints rely on inexpensive stainless steel dowel pins that fit lightly without the need for clip-rings or any other retaining mechanism. The model is securely fastened to a 6x6 inch wooden base from an office supply store. Mounting holes are strategically placed within the design. Files include: IGES, STL, and 3mf formats. Materials used were PETG and PLA.
