2 Cube Speed Test
pinshape
A Quality Control Test: Printer Speed Verification A precise evaluation of your printer's speed requires a standardized print job consisting of two 2 cm cubes, carefully positioned 100 mm apart. To conduct this test, follow these specific printing instructions: Print Two Shells: To ensure accuracy, print each shell separately. Bottom Layers: Print two layers to establish a solid foundation for the cube. Top Layers: Print another two layers on top of the bottom layers. Layer Thickness: Set the layer thickness at .2 mm to achieve optimal results. Infill Percentage: Utilize 20% infill with either a honeycomb or triangle pattern, depending on your slicer's capabilities. Perimeter Settings: Configure perimeters to be printed 2 mm from the print bed to the hot end. Additional Parameters: All other printer settings, such as nozzle diameter, speed, acceleration, bed placement, material selection, slicer software, and hardware type, are at the user's discretion. The test is considered valid only if the resulting cubes meet the specified criteria: the final dimensions must be within +/- .2 mm in all directions for both cubes.
