You should have the right size when your prints stack up on each other. Most people just use these to verify the precision of their prints though. They work alright, mine definitely did and so far all parts match exactly without a problem or discrepancy at all in this particular model set that I happen to be working with here today obviously since every one comes together seamlessly as it is expected with accuracy.
