This is a compact, self-contained 2-axis brushless gimbal for small HD cameras; it features a gimbal controller and sensor from Foxtech FPV, BG220870 motors, and Boscam HD19 ExplorerHD camera. A YouTube video showcases its performance (http://youtu.be/E7JgD8KLPkc). Improvements can be made by rubber-mounting the camera, tweaking PID settings, and incorporating a slip ring for cleaner wire management. The battery is an old 3S 1600mAh LiPo pack, which powers both controller and camera directly at 12.6V. The 3D print design requires strength and dimensional accuracy, balanced roll arm with lead weights, aligned tilt and roll axes with the camera sensor. Camera attachment is snap-in without screws, while the handle can be hollowly printed at 20% density. A redesign with a slip ring for better wire management is planned.
