2,8 and 4,0mm woodboard wedges

I actively create practical parts for our ongoing house renovation and building projects alongside my girlfriend. Instead of using random spacers between porch wooden boards, we aimed to develop a uniform wedge that fits perfectly between the planks with precise measurements. We chose 2.8mm as the ideal distance, equivalent to approximately seven nozzle-widths of 0.4mm, providing ample space for even spacing. To account for any misaligned boards, we also included a 4.0mm wedge, which can be adjusted by adding 1.2mm to certain boards to maintain uniformity across rows. Although the measurement is labeled on each wedge, I recommend printing them in different colors to quickly identify the sizes and ensure accurate placement.
