A rugged scale wheel chock for medium to large size model airplanes stabilizes the aircraft's wheels during transportation and on the field. Designed to be easily printed in three dimensions without support on a modern affordable 3D printer. This object can be printed with various materials including PLA, PETG, ABS, and other printable types. PLA works well for this application due to its ease of printing. The wheel chock should be durable, easy to maintain, and last a long time but not stored at high temperatures exceeding ~55 C (~ 130 F). If left in a hot environment such as a parked car during summer, it is recommended using another heat-tolerant material like PETG or ABS to prevent warping. Four chocks are required for a complete set. They work well to prevent models from rolling off tables. The model airplane shown in the pictures is a 120cc, 27 lbs (~12.2 Kg), Aeroworks Ultimate Biplane courtesy of Troy Emmett.
