A precision tool set consisting of two distinct instruments is designed to accommodate standard utility knife cutting blades, effectively creating a 45-degree chamfer on standard foamboard and balsa sheets, commonly used in RC aircrafts and other hobby projects. One tool enables left-to-right cuts, while the counterpart facilitates right-to-left cuts. The tool components can be easily printed with a modern, affordable 3D printer without any support requirements. Various printable materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, and many others can be utilized for printing purposes. PLA is an ideal material for this application due to its ease of use during the printing process. The tools should possess durability and easy maintenance features, ensuring they last for a prolonged period. However, it is essential not to store them in high-temperature environments, exceeding approximately 55 C (130 F). If the beveling tools are left in a high-temperature environment, such as a parked car during summer, I strongly advise using heat-resistant materials like PETG or ABS to prevent warping.
