$2.70Battery Box MK2–30mm X 127mm(~1 3/16” X 5”)
myminifactory
A compact battery compartment for mid-size aircraft models, crafted from lightweight materials like foamboard, cardboard, and balsa wood with a wingspan of 1 to 1.5 meters (39 to 60 inches) in length.\r\nThe finished compartment features three channels for securing straps that hold a standard 1800-2200 mHA 3-cell LiPo battery snugly within the fuselage.\r\nThese parts can be swiftly printed on any modern, affordable 3D printer without supports. They can also be printed with various materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS and other printable types.\r\nPLA suffices for this application, but a more heat-resistant material like PETG or ABS is suggested to print the battery box due to potential temperatures exceeding ~55 C (130 F). If this occurs, a PLA part might warp or deform. Leaving the model in a parked car on a hot summer day poses the same risk.\r\nI strongly advise opting for a more heat-tolerant material like PETG or ABS.
