When disposing of broken light bulbs with their bases, you often find yourself searching for a replacement bulb. However, upon arrival, the new bulb does not come equipped with the necessary base to plug it into the string. In this situation, I opt to print my own bulb using a RepRap Prusa i2 3D printer. The printed result may not be aesthetically pleasing, but it serves its purpose after carefully threading a needle through the wire holes at the base of the bulb. This DIY solution was created using Tinkercad, an online design tool.
