I've been repurposing an old NES console case as the housing for my media PC. I salvaged it from a junkyard, where it was destined for the scrap heap - fortunately, its motherboard had seen better days and was no longer functional, so I'm saving those components for use in upgrading my work consoles. With my micro-ITX board installed, I needed to find a way to secure my hard drive without obstructing airflow around the motherboard. To address this issue, I created a simple mounting stand that elevates the HDD at a safe distance from the board, ensuring optimal air circulation within the case.
