The SuperMicro SuperChassis SC846E16-R1200B and other similar models come equipped with mounting points designed specifically for internal hard drives. I utilized two of these to create a simple mount for an SSD. The SSD, however, is not supported on the bottom edge; still, considering its lightweight nature and lack of movement, it should remain stable in this position.\r\n\r\nTo secure the mount points, 2 standard #6-32 screws are required - the same type used for 3.5" HDDs - while the SSD needs 2 M3 screws to hold it firmly in place.
