This is a compact mounting bracket designed specifically for use with the [this IDE to SD card adapter](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DGNYXQ0/). It allows for secure installation of the adapter, replacing a standard 2.5" drive that measures only 10mm in height. As seen in photos, this bracket has been successfully integrated into a PowerBook G3. The bracket features two spare screw holes, conveniently located as shown in the accompanying photo, for storing any unused mounting screws. This thoughtful design decision is necessary due to one of the standard mounting holes being omitted to accommodate the insertion and removal of the SD card. Consequently, you may find yourself with an extra screw. For optimal results, it's recommended that this bracket be printed in a dark color, which helps to effectively conceal the LED light from the adapter.
