I was on the hunt for a reliable 7mm to 9mm adapter that would fit my 2.5 inch hard drive perfectly, and I finally found one. The bay accommodates regular-sized 2.5 inch hard drives with ease, but the 7mm drives get stuck below the tab that needs to be pressed in order to pull them out smoothly. This clever adapter gives my 7mm drives the extra space they need above the tab, allowing for effortless ejection without any hassle. It's a sturdy 2mm thick adapter, and all I had to do was attach it with some double-sided tape - I prefer using gray or black foam tape, as it holds exceptionally well.
