This is a female-to-female blast gate for use with dust collection systems, measuring 2½ inches in diameter. Unlike the blast gates I purchased from Woodcraft, which required wrapping with duct tape to fit standard 2½-inch hose connectors and frequently became stuck due to trapped dust, this blast gate accepts standard 2½-inch connectors without modification. The gate slides smoothly through its encasing assembly, eliminating recesses that can trap dust and prevent proper operation. It is held together by M5 or #10 bolts, which provide a secure fit. No supports are required for printing.
