2.5" HDD Storage Holder
thingiverse
I created a 2.5" HDD holder for 9.5mm drives based on the design of BrookTrout's 3.5" HDD holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2806248).\r\n\r\nI was impressed by his 3.5" HDD holder and wanted to create one that fit my 2.5" drives, so I remixed it to accommodate these drives.\r\n\r\nTo ensure the drives are held securely, simply place them in the holder with the connector facing up (like in the photos). This provides a snug fit and requires a moderate amount of force to insert or remove them, which is exactly as intended.\r\n\r\nHowever, if you place the drives in the holder with the connector facing down, they will sit slightly looser. The degree of looseness depends on the manufacturer of the HDD; my Seagate drives are held almost perfectly, while my Toshiba drives are much looser (they tend to lean forward a bit). To maintain consistency, I prefer to place all of my drives in the holder with the connector facing up.\r\n\r\nYou have the option to print this HDD holder with 4, 6, 8, or 10 slots.
