<p>I designed and printed this enclosure / stand for stacking multiple external HDD's.</p> <p>For example - like in my case - for a RAID setup.</p> <p>They provide enough space and clearance for ventilation and hold the drives well.</p> <p>This was tested for WD Elements 2.5" HDD's but the completely parametric openSCAD file should let you customize it easily for basically any drive.</p> <p>With a little bit more code work in the openSCAD file, you could also make a version for more drives!</p> <p>Have fun!</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>Anet A8</p> <p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>Doesn't Matter</p></div> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>0.2</p></div> <p><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>30%</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>Print the parts separately and laying on their side.<br/> This way no supports are needed. <p>If you don't want / know how to separate objects in an STL file, you can also print the single one.
