2.5" Hard drive case (based on the PiBow by Pimoroni)
thingiverse
Introducing a laser-cut hard drive enclosure designed for 2.5" 15mm laptop hard disks, inspired by the PiBow case for Raspberry Pi. If you like it, support the original by purchasing a PiBow. The assembly involves cutting 3mm acrylic pieces and attaching them with 4 x 30mm nylon M3 nuts and bolts, readily available on eBay. A cheap USB cable from Amazon is used for connectivity. Additional photos can be provided upon request. This case may also fit 9mm and 12.5mm disks by omitting layers and the top/bottom SATA connector space might need to be cut for lower-profile drives.
