I'm building an HDD caddy tailored specifically for the Acer E5-575 series laptops.\nIt wasn't until I dug deeper that I found out this family of laptops needs a sturdy caddy to secure 2.5" hard drives in place.\nThe drive will be loose and at risk if no caddy is used, but fortunately, this laptop doesn't come with one pre-installed.\nI decided to take matters into my own hands and create one myself.\nAfter four attempts, I finally came up with a design that works perfectly. It's specifically designed for 7mm tall drives, so if you have one that's bigger or smaller, you'll need to make some adjustments.
