This mounting bracket is designed for securing a hard drive to a surface, such as wood in a custom-built case. It accommodates both 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives. Part A inserts into Part B and clicks firmly into place. The unit can be easily disengaged by pressing the release handles. I believe this part requires printing with ABS or PETG due to PLA's tendency to exhibit excessive layer adhesion. The release handles sit flush against the surface, leaving a small gap between them. In my opinion, PLA may not allow for easy removal of the handles (untested). Additionally, ABS offers superior heat resistance, which could be beneficial when working with hard drives. Therefore, I recommend using ABS or PETG (also untested) for optimal results. This mounting bracket employs the same design principle as my SFX power supply mount, available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2796766
