2.4" TFT Desktop stand

With a tiny affordable TFT display and an Arduino or ESP8266 microcontroller, you can create many useful desktop displays. Starting with basic clocks or weather stations, you'll find ideas like exchange rate displays, word clocks, train schedules, and even journey home times on the internet. But let's face it - as a maker, your inventions won't cut it in the living room or office unless they look professional. Who wants to display homemade projects? This ultra-simple stand lets you cover your 2.4 TFT (based on ILI9341) and Wemos mini ESP8266 board with a pro-like appearance, minus any "homebrew" vibe. The TFT, ESP8266, and two covers snap together without glue or screws. I used the color weather station from Dani Eichhorn as an example - check out his blog at https://blog.squix.org/2016/10/esp8266-weather-station-color-code-published.html (Note: I used a slightly different TFT, TJCTM24024-SPI, which has the same electronics but is 2.4" instead of 2.2".)
