Update 2: iulianh requested a version with a switch. Therefore, I have added an updated version with space for a 6x6 tactical switch in the back on the right side. The versions include "switch" in the file name. Update 1: There was a wish to replicate the same design in 2.8", as this size display is available and slightly larger. I have added the files, noting that the bottom cover remains the same. With a small, affordable TFT and an Arduino or ESP8266, many useful displays can be created for your desktop. Ideas range from ordinary clocks to weather stations, including displays for actual exchange rates, word clocks, train schedules, or even journey times. These ideas are readily available online. However, as makers, our inventions often cannot be used in the living room or office unless they have a professional appearance. Who wants to display a "home brew" thing? This simple stand allows you to cover your 2.4 TFT (based on an ILI9341) and Wemos mini ESP8266 board with a professional appearance, like one bought from a gadget dealer - without any "home brew" touch. The TFT, ESP8266, and two covers stick together without glue or screws. For example, I used Dani Eichhorn's color weather station - https://blog.squix.org/2016/10/esp8266-weather-station-color-code-published.html (Note that I used a slightly different TFT, a TJCTM24024-SPI, which has the same electronics but is 2.4" instead of 2.2"). Print Settings: Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Post-Printing: Finishing To achieve a real "factory-made" appearance, a bit of sanding is required. How I Designed This: The entire design was done with Tinkercad.
