I Designed this little holder specifically for larger spools of materials. Mounting spools of filament directly above the printer can amplify print head movements into larger vibrations, and it presents the filament at too sharp an angle to the extruder, causing excessive wear. This new design should snap together easily, with the bearings pushing on securely - I was able to get them in place using just the heel of my foot. The bearings used are standard 22OD, 8ID, 7H ball type bearings.
