2.35mm (0.093in) Lexan - Plexiglass Stand
thingiverse
Created to hold a 2.35mm (0.093in) LEXAN (Polycarbonate) Sheet. It should work for other sheets like glass or acrylic that are of similar thickness. It was created to hold a protective piece of glass in front of the display of my dartboard that should help to protect the display from rogue darts thrown far off course by small children (or drunk friends). Normally a soft-tip dart will not break the display...but as the dart board gets older the protective glass become more fragile and could break when hit (RIP my 15 year old Fat Cat dart board). I chose LEXAN instead of acrylic because it's ability to take a strike and not break. There are two different STL files that have a narrow base (35mm) or wide base (55mm). You can also scale to fit different size materials. LEXAN etching is also a popular hobby and these stands can be used to display your art. You can purchase the Lexan sheet at Lowes: https://www.lowes.com/pd/LEXAN-0-093-in-T-x-8-in-W-x-10-in-L-Clear-Polycarbonate-Sheet/3143465
