2.3” Lowrider Copy

I really enjoyed watching the Hyperlow frame by Kabab FPV (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4yjtLpqFmlVncUFExoVjiQ), so I thought it would be a great idea to design a similar printable design. This frame is designed to work seamlessly with the Flite Test Gremlin Power Pack, which includes individual 6 amp ESCs, the EMAX F3 Femto FC, and 1104 5250kv motors. The camera mount works perfectly with a skinny AIO camera like the Wolfwhoop WT05. I am upgrading to EMAX 1106 6000kv motors, so the motor mounts are compatible with both the 1104 and 1106 motor. The battery mounts on top of the frame, which is why the arms are so impressively long. The arm tabs are intentionally oversized, making it necessary to sand them down for a tighter fit and no play in the arms. You will need two M3 standoffs and four standoff screws to assemble the frame together. When I printed this version of the frame out, the holes for the standoffs didn't quite line up, but the standoffs were still able to screw in without any issues. Files: - 1106vertarmthick.stl: arm with a 4mm mount thickness; only compatible with motors that have screws suitable for 4mm arms; stronger due to more material - chunky thin mount.stl: arm with a 2mm mount thickness; compatible with both 1106 and 1104 motors - with retainers.stl: bottom plate - short arms top plate.stl: top plate Note: The arms on this frame are not very durable, at least in the PLA that I am limited to. Unfortunately, I only have the ability to print in PLA, so I've actually moved to a carbon fiber frame for my Gremlin/2.5" components. As a result, I will not be improving these files further. If you're looking for a durable printed frame for PLA, I would recommend using the beefiest bottom plate from my Flite Test Gremlin Frame System, because it was able to withstand even the toughest conditions. The file names for this sturdy bottom plate are GremlinFrame2V2sidefillets.STL and GremlinFrame2V3_2mm_tabs.stl.
