This is a 3D model of a filament spool stand designed specifically for large filament spools weighing up to 2.3 kg and measuring an outer diameter of 300mm. Due to the immense size of these spools, they often pose a challenge for most standard 3D printers, prompting us to devise a solution that addresses this issue effectively. To get started with building your own filament spool stand, you can download the STL files from our database, which are optimized for 3D printing. Once printed, it's essential to incorporate two ball bearings (6002 type) into the design. These ball bearings boast an inner diameter of 15mm and an outer diameter of 32mm, with a thickness of 9mm, ensuring smooth and low-friction rotation. If you prefer not to use ball bearings in your spool stand, we've also included alternative parts that can be printed without them. Simply download the following STL files: 1.
