Micron Miniatures set MM903:   Voronoi Trees (Set 1)   Get ready for a re-forestation revolution! For sale are a pair of files which can be used to print supportless, waste-free trees for your wargames table at any size. Due to the careful design and use of the Voronoi style, these trees can be placed on the build plate and scaled from tiny shrubs to whatever size your printer volume can accomodate, no extra work required - you can even overlap several trees in the slicer before printing to make sections of forests. On the more common household size build plates, these will make mighty and ancient trees in 6mm scale, and something similar in size to a 10 foot high tree in 28mm. Once you have printed them, base coat and paint your preferred tree colour on the whole model and finish the trunk with drybrushing and washes. When the base coat is finished, using a broad brush, sweep a nice thick coat of PVA across the canopy, allowing the glue to form a membrane across the surface of the pores, then immediately dunk in your favorite flocking material. There are endless finishing possibilities, and you will find these trees suitable for any era or environment (where trees grow!) and even for wild fantasy or sci-fi worlds if you skip the flocking stage; they can become the skeletons of ancient coral on the scorched floor of an extinct ocean, or giant above-ground alveoli exchanging gases for a subterranian terror yet to be encountered...
