1x3x0.75 Fixture Block
thingiverse
This is a compact fixture block, engineered to work seamlessly with a fixture plate. It's an ideal tool for creating multiple simple jigs and fixtures quickly. While it may not be the best choice for holding parts during machining operations, it would be perfect for a drill press or assembly application. The fixture block is specifically designed to complement my entire ecosystem of 3D printed fixtures: 4"x4" Fixture Plate --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3749201 4"x8" Fixture Plate --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3755040 8"x8" Fixture Plate --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3763608 Compatible 123 Block --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3675399 1x2x.75 Fixture Block --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3761790 1x3x.75 Fixture Block --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3762813 Cam Clamp --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3763199 Mitee-Bite Clamp --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3770174 The holes on this fixture block are spaced half an inch apart, with most of them serving as clearance holes for a 1/4-20 SHCS. However, four of the holes are designed to fit tightly around a 1/4" dowel pin, allowing you to index precise locations on the fixture plates. This level of precision might be excessive for a 3D printed fixture but could come in handy. This project was inspired by the Saunders Machine Works fixture plates, which offer the best source for machining fixture plates if needed.
