This filament spool holder is incredibly straightforward yet remarkably effective. Its movable design allows you to effortlessly slide it along a 1x2 piece of wood. Three M3x10 screws in the back provide an extremely secure grip on the wood, holding the part firmly in place. The angular force exerted by the filament causes the screws to press into the back of the wood, ensuring it stays exactly where you positioned it. Note that this particular model doesn't require drilling screws into the wood; instead, they simply need to be inserted into pre-existing holes within the plastic framework. To get the best results, print this model with a high infill so that the part remains rigid and maintains a strong grip on the wood.
