I Designed a Spool Holder for the 3D Printing Nerd Design Contest. I Based My Design on the Spool Holder Used in Prusa i3 MK3 Machines, as Its Attachment Mechanism is Identical - Clipping onto a Rectangular Cross Section of Material. Since It Was for the 3D Printing Nerd, I Added the 3DPN Logo to the Shaft for Extra Swag. I Recommend Printing with PETG, ABS, or Nylon, Which Will Provide a Little Flex When You Snap it onto the 1x2, and I'm Not Sure if PLA Has Enough Flexibility for That.
