This is a basic clip-on spool holder designed for Joel's small competition setup. The holder attaches securely over the wooden slate, featuring a tiny 3mm nub at the bottom to prevent it from shifting out of place. Its compact width of just 35mm makes it easy to quickly relocate anywhere on the slates. Printing directly onto the side eliminates the need for support structures, and layer lines should provide sufficient strength to the part. I already have a similar tabletop version with an arm of this size, and so far, I haven't encountered any spools weighing up to 1 Kg that it won't securely hold.
