UPDATED: Added the conic shape to the mounting area to eliminate the need for spacers. Wheel/Fender saver for 1UP bike rack. Something I worked up to help distribute the load on my fenders when using the 1up rack I also found that it worked even nicer for the 2 1/2" 650B tires on my wife's bike. I put two lengths up. I use the longer on my fender and the shorter on the wife's front wheel. Spacers are optional but will keep saver centered.
