This is an optical splice protection box for 4 optical fibers, it has 4 slots for SC connectors (to be ordered separately). This rack has been designed to replace the FRENCH optical plugs. Can be used for any other local fiber optic installation. It is also necessary to secure the cable arriving in the rack with a collar to avoid that it pulls on the soldering. The coiling cassette included with the model has not been tested but normally it can contain and block the 4 smooves. It is directly inspired by a Prysmian socket. Note to the french users : you have to put the following color code for the plugs : socket 1 : red socket 2 : blue socket 3 : green socket 4 : yellow A cover is also available if you don't have 4 SC plugs needed. This rack meant to be use as a final plug for fiber optic line, but if you want to use it as a regular splice box to make your own local nework with fiber optic, you can.
