This design was crafted to provide an option that mirrors the factory "bumper" found on a real International Scout. The light cutouts on the sides feature a 5mm hole for LEDs, while the center cutouts only extend partially through to ensure bumper/frame inserts retain sufficient material for support. This design is slightly wider than the bumper Redcat supplies with the truck, aiming to match the factory body lines. Additional refinements have been made to the bumper and lens package. The lens boasts a 0.12mm gap around its edge, necessitating some sanding to achieve a snug fit. A 1mm lip has also been incorporated for securing the lens in place using glue, as well as relying on tension for a secure fit.
