This is the original Seal of Sol given to us by S. L. Macgregor Mathers through The Greater Key of Solomon. Those curious about Qabalah and related magical literature, artwork, and culture may find this model useful. A detailed 3D model set includes an embossed and reliefed seal in MAX 7, STL, and Kaydara FBX formats. Also included is a metals material library and reflection map in ZIP format for reference purposes. This Seal of Sol model is depicted on one side, closely matching Mathers' design. The other side displays the embossed Great Seal of Solomon as shown by Mathers himself. According to Mathers, MS: Figure 32 explains The First Pentacle of the Sun - The Countenance of Shaddai the Almighty, whom all creatures obey, and the Angelic Spirits reverence with bent knees. The Editor adds that this unique Pentacle contains Methraton or Metatron's head, who serves as Shaddai's representative and vice-regent. Known also as the Prince of Countenances, he is the right-hand masculine Cherub of the Ark - contrasting with Sandalphon, his feminine counterpart on the left side. The Name El Shaddai appears on both sides, surrounded by the Latin phrase: Behold His face and form by Whom all things were made, and Whom all creatures obey.
