1st rank sail ship Commerce de Marseille (1788) 1/700
thingiverse
The Commerce de Marseille is a French first-rate ship (118 guns) constructed in 1788. Its name originates from the Chamber of Commerce of Marseille, which sponsored its building. The British captured it in 1793 and converted it into a prison ship. Sixteen other ships were built with a similar design, including the famous Orient and Wagram. This model is intended for a scale of 1/700. The files included are: - The hull - The anchor (to be printed four times) - The bowsprit - The mainmast - The mizzen mast (rear mast) - The foremast (misaine in French) Printing the masts may prove challenging. After conducting printing trials, I have been satisfied with the hull, but I suggest replacing the masts with metallic rods.
