I created this component as part of a larger project that necessitated this specific fitting, but it has been adapted into a dust cap with an easily tightened top for added convenience. If you need this precise type of connection for your own project, you can import the design into your CAD software and then cut off the excess material to create a custom piece. Before slicing, make sure to rotate the model 180 degrees so that the cap's top surface aligns with the bed of your 3D printer. Failing to do so will result in issues due to overhangs from the incorrect orientation.
