This is a wind turbine that I designed for an engineering course at Michigan Tech. The premise is fairly simple. There is a dc motor with a 2mm shaft, a base stand for the whole assembly, and a three-winged prop for converting wind energy. The max-width is 12 inches taken by the swing of the props and the max height is 16. THIS FILE IS SAVED IN INCHES. To print, simply use a modifier of 2540 to go scale to the metric slicer size. Supports are required. I printed the props upright with the trailing edge of the blade facing the backside of the print bed. I then set the seem to "back" making the airfoil as smooth as possible.
