Researchers have successfully captured low-resolution photogrammetry images using the Deep Discoverer (D2) remotely operated vehicle (ROV) on board the Research Vessel Okeanos Explorer. Data collection for this project took place during NOAA Cruise EX1711, Dive 07. The exceptional skill and expertise of the ROV pilots on the Okeanos played a crucial role in obtaining these valuable images. Special recognition goes to BOEM's Marine Archaeologist Scott Sorset, whose protocols for data collection and processing ensured the accuracy and reliability of the results.
