19mm Wheel Spike

19mm Wheel Spike

Decided to give my 4x4 a fresh new look by printing out some awesome wheel spikes, but then I thought "No way, the cops around here might not approve of that, they tend to frown upon anything cool just for the sake of being cool". So I added a pointer tab to the spikes to make sure the wheel nuts line up perfectly, and printed them in a bright, eye-catching color. That way, they can easily comply with any OHS/WHS/OSHA regulations in my area, no matter what color is required. Now I can see at a glance if my wheel nuts are loose, and still enjoy the cool factor of having wheel spikes on my car. The basic spike has one 19mm hex, but the pointer spike has two 19mm hexas, so that if the wheel nuts aren't perfectly aligned, the stud can be adjusted to match the others as closely as possible. I've also included a version with supports for those who don't use top-notch slicers like Cura. The tree supports should print just fine, and I generated them using Meshmixer.
