19cm(7.5'') Seven Segment Display
thingiverse
Hi! This is my first upload to Thingiverse and my version of homemade 7-segment displays. The dimensions are 190mmx100mmx10mm. There are two designs for the base of the display, both basically the same but with a key difference: one has an initial layer (0.3mm) covering the whole surface. I added this layer because I had problems with sticking filament on those small squares and circles. To fix it, you'll need to manually cut them out - a simple task. I use red LED strips (3528) that are cut to length to fit inside the segments. These strips can be connected directly to a PCB or using classic wires via 2.54mm right-angle male pin headers. For the decimal point, I opt for a 5mm red LED diode. To assemble your 7-segment display, follow these steps: Print one of the two base designs (either 7_segment_1.stl or 7_segment_2.stl) in black. Print a single decimal point module from the decimal_point.stl file also in black. Print seven cover pieces from the cover.stl file - they should be white. Finally, print a single cover for the decimal point from the decimal_point_cover.stl file and again in white.
With this file you will be able to print 19cm(7.5'') Seven Segment Display with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on 19cm(7.5'') Seven Segment Display.
