1987 Haro Kneesaver Handlebars

1987 Haro Kneesaver Handlebars

This model replicates my 1987 Haro Master Kneesaver handlebars accurately, but due to poor quality control, some aspects of the design were based on educated guesswork. Different examples vary but share key commonalities. Weld joints weren't filleted for clear visibility of part fit. The vertical/side tubes taper from 1" to 7/8", with most of this transition occurring between two bends in the middle section. If making these bars, I would suggest tapering the tubes on a lathe before bending them for optimal wall thickness. Use 4130 Chromoly tubing with crossbars at .058" or .065" wall thickness.
